We need your opinion

Should we think bigger?

We print design and functional objects — so far on a smaller scale. We are now considering investing in our own large-format 3D-printing production. Before we take this step, we want to know: is there real demand for it?

This is not a sales pitch.

It is an honest question.

The fork in the road

Keep going small or invest big?

Keep going small or invest big?

The next step for LoopForm would be our own large-format 3D printer, a suitable production hall and the necessary infrastructure. Before we make this decision, we first want to understand whether your projects would really benefit from it.

€200,000

estimated investment for machine, hall and infrastructure.

Today

Small-format design and functional objects.

Tomorrow

Individual large-scale objects and components in batch size 1.

The question

Is there real demand for this in the market?

WHAT WOULD BE POSSIBLE?

New shapes. New possibilities.

Large-format 3D printing could be interesting wherever individual shapes, small quantities or project-specific custom solutions are needed. Whether and where that creates real value is something we would like to find out together with you.

What would actually help you?

You know the requirements of your projects better than we do. That is why we are just as interested in possible applications as in sizes, quantities, requirements and hurdles.

Portrait of Marc, co-founder of LoopForm
WHO IS ASKING, ANYWAY?

This is LoopForm.

We are Sarah and Marc and have been working with 3D printing for over four years. It all started with a small printer, a lot of curiosity and one question: why don’t we print bigger?

Our fascination with design objects led to our first experiments with 3D printing — combined with the ambition to produce recyclably and as close to circular as possible.

Our first 3D printer produced small-format design objects for private customers. Their feedback, together with current trends, showed us the potential of objects made individually, digitally and with minimal use of resources.
